Dear Japan from Michael
There are no words to express my sorrow for what those people are going through. The memory of the earth quake we had here in the bay area is still fresh in my mind and although it was disastrous it pales in comparison to what they are going through. Wish I could load up my tractor and go give em a hand.

Dear Japan from Atlanta, Georgia:
None of us will eventually survive nature in our physical form; we all will be swallowed up in the earth or blown away in the wind. But in this cataclysmic, ferocious violence of nature, the shock, horror, and instant loss of so many is too much to bear, the work of surviving is fearsome. So pray, or meditate or raise energy or sing; do whatever you do, and pray for the people of Japan, and pray for all of us.

Dear Japan: from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA
Sisters, and Brothers, Mothers, Fathers, Children, and Grandparents,
My heart aches for your country as wellas for you personally.
There are no words to express such devastating loss.
...
However, the world unites with love, hope and aid to the wonderful people of Japan.
Being a pediatric nurse and psychiatric nurse for adults and children I so wish to be there in your time of such anguish and sorrow.
With my prayers, and deep compassion, to the resilient people of Japan, I know the sun will shine again.
It will take years, for some a lifetime for others to process this horrific catastrophe.
I love you, sweet people and send energy of strength and hope to you that in some way this will unite the world in love and passion to aid and help you restore your country.
Heartfelt blessings, and restoration thru faith and love.

Dear Japan

March 2011 - Blessings to Japan from Clanton, Alabama:
I can't even begin to imagine the horror one must feel when it seems your whole world is crumbling around you. As if the earthquake that hit (measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale) wasn't enough, along comes a Tsunami, literally wiping out entire villages. Thousands dead, God only knows how many displaced. And then there is the nuclear meltdown. But you know all this (even if you don't read the news, you most likely know about this.)
If you've ever strolled through a Japanese garden, then you know tranquility. If you've seen a smile on a child's face and felt a tug at your heart, then you know compassion. Share it now, please.
My goal for this blog is to send love and light to the people of Japan and beyond. To tell each and every one that we are thinking of them, praying for them, sending them the love and light as a force of one - backed by the world's most powerful tool: love.
Please post your words, share with these who have lost so much. Kindness matters, compassion reaches the unreachable and love truly does conquer all.
I will make every effort to see that everyone who wants to post here can. And I will use every resource available to let the people of Japan know that the world cares!!!Namaste,
Lynn West
